what you call anti chatter rods are not for clutch chatter .there purpose is to hold the eng from the pushing force from the torque tube .when you have open drive there not needed

save your starter install a elect pump with a switch when car sits a long time turn the pump on you will here the sound change when carb is full also good in very hot weather if car vapors lock

it,s much cheaper to buy a 40 axle than the work required ti shorten your axle .i have five early fords over 30 years & rotate driving them i have never broke an axle how maney do you think you will...

a lot of guys offer money for cars at swap meets when you tell them ok give me the money they disaper talk is cheap.i have guys saying they want this or that & never show up

are you viewing this with the pump out if there is no spring tension on the rod it will just go up & stay there. install the pump or put your finger on the rod & crank the eng while pushing down on...

have you removed the oil baffle plate in the valve chamber it just snaps over the center pipe check the one in the rear onley will take a min.

it,s very ez to adopl a remote fill. if you stay with the org. fill cap do not tighen cap with a wrench just tigthen it hand tight. if you make it to tight you will never get the cap off later on

the trouble with getting some one in a club is they may be qualified. most of them are hobbist. we get cars in our shop that were inspeced by club members .& are in bad shape get a pro they advise...

the most comman cause of stuck valves is varnesh on the stem not rust fog in down when you put it to bed
