Taped?...what kind of tape? so you folded the bedding around the bottom of the glass taped it to the glass then pushed it into the metal channel? ...

wow you guys are lucky...all I found in my ol car was a hole...just a big black bottomless hole with a little sign and an arrow pointing to the abyss that said..to rebuild throw money here...;)

thanks for the quick reply...but just now i ground off the rivets pulled the cover. took out the gear, driveing pin/dog, spring etc. I didnt see anything wrong but after a while i reverse engineered...

i dont think the anti spatter spray stops the spatter..it just wont allow it to stick to the surrounding metal..

What is wrong with my window crank,it wont stay down? the spring runs the window back up if i let go of the window crank. there is a lot of grease and oil under the small gear cover and on the big...
