putting a 42 crank pulley on a 38 motor....adapter?

I'm trying to put a 42 double crank pulley on a 38 motor. The 38 crank snout is smaller and shorter. I heard there was a crank snout adapter for this but don't know where I could get one. Any help...

Does anybody know if the 28,000,000th Ford, a 1940 ford 4 door sedan is accounted for. Is it restored? In a museum? Private collection? Know the vin number??
