Re: Wanted
I agree, there is a section for items for sale which keeps them off of general discussion, there used to be a wanted section but it went away. Did I miss something?

Radio antenna
Where should the antenna go on a 57 Fairlane 500? I have seen sweep type in the center of the trunk lid but that doesnt appeal to me.

Anyone have a copy of Rich William’s book on 60 hp flatheads they could part with? I would even take one, have it copied and send back your copy.
Thanks

Re: Scam alert
When ever I list something and get replies, I always look at the profile if it's new I walk away. This is bad for newbies but we have to do what we have to do.

Re: Transmission swap
Got it working. Shifts a bit erratic at some different speeds, I need to back off the throttle a bit then it shifts. Kind of like a manual with overdrive.

I ran across a 24 stud block with L2101 cast into the back of the block. Can anyone help narrow this down? According to Van Peldt it is an 8ba, going by the water jacket casting holes
