The bolts should be a line fit in their holes to prevent movement of the front crossmember.


Per side, there are 2 fasteners in the vertical wall in the frame-to-cross member, 3 fasteners flush...

My guess is that the hinge pin diameter in your car is 0.250". Drill the mirror bracket the same diameter as the door hinge pin. Use a hex head bolt, hex nut and lock washer in lieu of the hinge pin....

Hi Purdy,
Yes you can, but the Houdaille shocks must come off of the car to change the fluid. To get the fluid out, cycle the shock upside down with the drain plug out.
