All phaetons really take two people to up and down. IMHO
They are a bit flimsy and warp and bend fairly easily; particularly the deluxe phaeton

I have taken apart many originals but don't have one in the shop presently
All Ive seen is the head toward the fender and the nut inside the frame.

Anyone have a detailed diagram of what and where the top snaps and fittings go on the 180a? Did old LB instructions have such?
