With the body upside down you measure the float level from the base to the bottom of the first ring on the float right?

Now that you say that I see what you mean I'm going the wrong...

Moden Dist. I meant I bount an origianl model a dist. that had been rebuilt and the modified it so the condensor is on the top plate and the pig tail wire was removed.

I wired the car and messed around all day before we figured out the dist. cable was to far in which caused us to have no spark.

One I figured that out I re-timed the car and started her up...
