There has been some discussion on another forum that the Zephyr V12 of the 1940's was a real crap engine. Poor HP and other performance issues. Is that because of the tiny pistons?

Re: Dual Exhaust on 34 coupe
To convert your exhaust to dual, you will need headers and two pipes routed from the headers, back through the frame and your choice of mufflers. Nothing better than the sound of a flathead with dual...

Re: 51 Crestliner
Those holes should have been filled with lead, not bondo. Of course they probably got 60 years out of the bondo so it did it's job.

Re: Horn rod removal
You may want to remove the steering tube bracket from the dash board to give you a better angle (at least more options) when pulling up the rod.

Re: 41 Ford engine help
Just in case the fuel pump does not correct the problem. Do you have a test meter? If not, go buy one. They are cheap and you simply must have one and learn how to use it.

Re: Repainting an engine
As an old sign painter, I would suggest adding a little Penetrol to the paint. Really helps with the "flow" of the paint and it does not "thin" the paint as adding thinner would do.

You may have a vacuum leak some where. Check the wiper hose, line to helmet and make sure intake manifold is tight.
