I knew the answer was not to put in a droping resistor. This could probably work for a certain gage but why take all the electric engery that you burned gas to...

I converted the start and run part of my 47 Mercury convertible to 12VDC. Starter runs much faster and draws less current and I can use an off the shelf battery. But now for keeping the original...

There has to be thousands of great metal formers out their. There has to be over a thousand 40 Fords that have been repaired or restored over the decades! Some one has made a lower rear door...

They all have rocker panels but no one seems to have the rear lower back door post or inner fender skirt patch panels.

Tried Bob Drake, EMS and macsautoparts.

1. Clean metal is key, so im cutting out the old and sand blasting and grinding the lip on the floor...
