Re: Best coil to use with a petronix ign

I have somewhat limited experience with the Pertronix units. I am using it on 3 FE engines for the last several years without a single failure. I have had failures with points set up. One set of...

My pertronix is installed on 1971 302. It has been there about 4 yrs without a hiccup. The vacuum advance is connected.

How well does yours run the way it is hooked up?

I have always used NAPA 3033 gas filters. They are for 3/8" gas lines. Never have had a problem with them failing.

Re: Ballast resistor needed??

Thanks flathead. I was just out in the shop and loosened the coil enough to spin it around. It says to use an ext resistor on it. This set up has approx 2000 miles in 3 years on it with no problem. I...

Re: 1957 F-100 with 302 5.0 Liter
