Re: New Eddie Myers’s heads question

I remember back in the 1960s when a guy saw a pair of aluminum heads that he liked he bought them. Then he went to the parts store to get a set of head gaskets. Probably bought what the parts guy...

Re: What have we got here?

When I am rolling down the interstate around 70mph it amazes me how the newer semi-tractor's with a 53' loaded trailer zip right past me, going up hills, and all I hear is the tire noise. When I was...

Re: What have we got here?

I watch the show every week and saw the truck last evening. It looked to me that it surely had some Ford characteristics. The grille seemed so similar to a 1933/34 Ford passenger car. Possibly 35/36...

Re: Banjo Steering Wheel - why are they sought after?

Ha Ha! I'm old too glen. Not as old as my pickup tho. Some things you never know unless you try. Ya just have to be able to feel that sweet spot right before the "Oh crap" spot. LOL

Re: Banjo Steering Wheel - why are they sought after?

Yes, and the plain and thin 35 grille looks the best to me. I also have the sliding rear window and have wondered if the horn rod would flex enough for removal without dropping the column. I doubt...

Re: Banjo Steering Wheel - why are they sought after?

"Beauty is in the eye of the beholder" it is said. My 36 Deluxe pickup has the banjo wheel. I will not change it but prefer the three spoke wheel in a pickup.
