I use an old meat thermometer from my wife's collection of kitchen stuff. It works well enough to verify what the actual temperature is.
I go for a nice 20 mile drive, come home pop the meat...

I use Mobil Delo 15-40 oil used in diesel motors, it very similar to the Shell Rotella. I have heard nothing but good things about the oil.

Ronn, try it for a one month period, see how it works out for you. I understand not everyone can use their Model A as a driver but if you have hankering do it .
