12" drums

Hi all, I'm a Model A guy. I inherited 2 12" front drums without hubs and 3 12" rear drums swaged to the hub. The rears look similar a Model A rear hub.
Can someone tell me what years Ford these...

A lot of folks say you can run a 6V starter on 12V. But I think its better to convert the starter to 12V if the car has been changed to 12V. You also might want to use the Barrel drive.

Dirttrack, in looking at your pictures, you have a metal fan, I run a plastic fan and the collar won't fit under the fan hub.
In your case, remove the pump, remove the fan, loosen the brass packing...

Looks like a new pump, but the collar is installed backwards, the teflon needs to be against the brass collar, or like said above your can install it on the front of the pump under the fan fully, if...

best resource in the US is Rennier Brothers in Michigan. Don't know about Australia.
Zenth/Tilliston parts can't be used on a Marvel.
It's a good carb.

When I did my T/S in 2010, I think I read a Service Letter that listed the increase in Commercial colors, but today I can't find that letter?! My memory says the letter was written in 193.

The Diablo A's dvd shows how you have to modify the plate that mounts on the wedge anchor bolt. Get the dvd for that alone.

Seeing as you live in SD, give Bert's in Colo a call. I installed one of their motors last year and has run great, they do them one at a time, I was on their list for about 4 months-but worth it.

If you have a voltmeter, with motor running, measure the generator output to ground, if the voltage is positive, try reversing the 2 field coil wires. Then polarize the generator. That should solve...
