one part of the mount is bolted to the frame---with the rubber attached ---your rubber is not attached anymore

The parts book has different numbers for 35-36-37, later parts books list the 37 switch as replacement, I thought from reading the 35-36 book that one year on was pushing switch, other pulling switch...

It's probably better to take a look and see what it really needs.
Have you pulled a drum to look?, jacked it up and wiggle wheel--- there may already be a lot of new parts

A lot of the modern production wheel cylinders have the fluid and bleeding holes drilled in the wrong place, they even sell defective brake shoes to use with the defective wheel cylinders, many times...

If you are making a cheap replacement head in the later 30s use the combustion chamber for the dome pistons and just make it flat for the early flat top pistons

The specs in the ford book call for 30 psi at 2600 rpm and the relief valve opening at 30lbs.
If the relief valve is blocked or too strong of a spring in effort to raise hot oil pressure the cold...

Perhaps you had leakage from several cylinders,
A long time ago I tried K&W block sealer on a engine with very bad head gasket--- when started with a full radiator and the cap off it would erupt...

I have several diamond blocks they have a crack at the center head stud and in looking underneath in the water jacket the original blocks have a X shaped reinforcement that diamond blocks do not have

If you can post the inner diameter of lock plate I can confirm if the nos lock plate is early one that I have--- it came off hardware sales book that had many small parts glued to pages

It's best if you can find someone with Barrett brake doktor lathe, the inner adapter fits into the wheel bearing with the seal in place assuring it is centered the same as running on the car

if you have good spark at 1-2 but less at 3-4 perhaps there is a bad spot in the cap and the spark is being diverted internally---try another cap also check point gap to see if big difference between...
