Body parts list effective 8,1,34 shows a front mat as 40-730400-A .
Front pad shows as 40-700402 .
These are for model 720 [ 3w ] but fit many others .

I'll look for the dimension but early 33's are not the same length as 34 . Light switch rod and steering shaft are also different than 34 .

To answer the OP's question YES .
No idea what brand as it is an old steel one .
If you keep up with replacing the rubber sealing washers it does not smell at all .
If if doesn't smell at all...

Yes ,
Fairly common to find 2 cylinder JD tractor blocks-heads with mushy metal .
Seems to be in ones that sat with water in the horizontal cylinders for years .
If deep enough it effectively...

I use 40 on 33-34 aluminum heads .

Had a weeping head gasket years ago and attempted to fix it by going to 60 .

Got to remove the heads to replace some stripped studs .

Won't do that...

For the amount of things it would positively eliminate and a relatively simple task I would still try it .

You can hear other things better also with the belt off .

Clueless without seeing-hearing it . That said try taking the fan belt off and make a QUICK drive .

Did you check for u-joint slop ??

Front and rear are both slotted .
Front is flat and rear is countersunk on the engagement side .
Front one is flat on the exposed surface and rear is domed .

head stud washers for 34 aluminum heads

Anyone have a set of original hardened washers for head studs on 34 aluminum heads ?

Any amount is OK as I have a partial set .

Pic is a 33 .
Dimple in fender lip is clearly visible as is the 33 crossmember,rad mount and shock hole .
All 33 only stuff .

If yes you may have a mess in the rear of your crankcase .

Looks like the fuel pump stand hole in the intake is round .
That makes it a early 35 intake .

Pic of the fuel pump pushrod bushing area will clarify a lot .
