Steve, If you do these buttons, please consider making some extras. I'm sure other Fordbarners coming to Auburn would love to get one, and would be more than willing to pay you for one.

There is a difference in trunk back vs. slant back rear seats, but according to Snyders catalog, apparently the rear seat springs they sell are the same for both body style's.

I've always removed the intake carburetor mounting studs by double nutting as mentioned above. Once or twice I've also had to apply some heat to the area around the stud.

I think you are right on the money Lawrie, and I believe the smaller diameter rear roller bearing started in '36.

I just installed a complete set of '40 - '48 side shift gears in a '35 case. Also, some of the individual parts from a side shift transmission will interchange with the earlier top load transmission...

I'm a bit surprised to hear about so many problems pressing these timing gears on a cam shaft. I've pressed many of these gears, both fiber and aluminum, off and on these early cams. I've done this...

Keys can be cut to a cylinder number, but there is no guarantee it will work in that cylinder now because the pins in the cylinder wear over time. However, it's still worth a try, and if it will not...

Roger that. That's all I've ever used.
Now maybe on an assembly line, having that tool during the assembly procedure, might be an advantage.

I've removed and installed lots of '35-'36 inner door handles over the years and don't recall ever needing a special tool like the ones shown here.

Probably the result of a component that funtions okay when cool but fails when heated. The components to check would be the coil, condenser, and ignition resistor mounted on firewall, behind dash.

Third Generation Automotive in Tennessee ( Michael Driskell) is very good at rebuilding EFV-8 distributors.
