I have had three diamond A blocks, two came out of tugs that I had bought, that were used on the water front. none of the three had exhaust seat inserts.

I use 32 oversize stainless pins. they are longer then the Victoria. I also turn the end of the pin down and put a 1/4" acorn nut on the bottom

most of the time it is better to start off at bare metal. that being said you can NOT put Lacquer over most other paints because it could lift. if the lacquer is in good shape, that means no checking...

I too use the S/M Electro- tech, set up, and i buy the wiring harness from Snyder`s with the turn signals built right in. it is easy to install and works great with LED bulbs.

there is special brackets for mounting on the Victoria. it is knocked out for the rear panel. on the Victoria there is no differences on the rear of the body and bumper brackets early or late.

Jim has it right on. you will learn how to close your with out pulling to hard on the handle. the Victoria and other slant window bodies just don`t look right with the door pulls.

originally the ignition and door handle key used the same key. is the handle original. if it is remove it and take it to a lock smith some of them can make a new key.

I do not think you will get the front of the engine down far enough with that piece of metal under the mount. it is not part of the mount. it is a backing plate for a bumper clad.

if you are going to jack up the front of the engine. remove the throttle off the back of the engine, or you will bend it.
