Re: Modern Shocks any good?

Re: GAV and alcohol

I can relate a short story about an A I had back in the 1960's. A friend who was a master welder during WW2. etc. brazed a fitting on the '30 gas tank firewall while in the car. We drained the fuel,...

Re: Return to the Rear Float a Motor Thread

With FAMs on a larger and heavier F150 tranny, the rear adapter can't be used so we use an angle and approx 1/8" pad on the cross member so as not to stress the rear mounts, etc. With your tranny,...

Re: Fuel shut off

Yup; not for show, but get rid of the orig. style and use a new modern lever ball valve cut into the gas line with compression fittings. If inside valve, don't want fuel inside the car. Suggest also...

Re: Help! Tie rod end install

What length are the springs, approx 1" ?? Maybe too stiff? I have to use a plastic hammer to knock the rods over the balls sometimes. The springs should compress approx. 25% , so if 1 " long, approx....
