If the mounting screws go through slots it is Model A. If they go through round holes it is a later unit as similar cutouts were used on Model B and on the V8 generators until 1939.

An unmolested 1932-36 distributor core for rebuilding. It would use a coil that mounts with three screws. It has a rotor, inner caps, and clips for holding outer caps. $25 + postage.

1930-31 Water Outlet with FORD Name

As Snyder is the only spring maker I am aware of I checked their part numbers and find 1940 Coupe does not interchange with 1940 Tudor and that 1940 Standard Tudor uses a different seat cushion...
