Re: Need 2 1939 style engine block petcocks. H10 plugs

Re: Need 2 1939 style engine block petcocks. H10 plugs

Re: remove windshield 1936 Cabriolet

Just a thought. Try to work a strong nylon fishing line between the w/s frame and the body and work it back and forth to try to cut through the silicone without damaging the paint. What do you call...

Re: Me again on 60HP engine restoration

Kibe: It may just be me but I have NEVER gotten a response from Mike, no matter how I have tried to contact him. Dunno why, I'm jinxed I reckon.

Re: Me again on 60HP engine restoration

I have considered that but would really rather do it the way Henry did it. After all, it's going in a museum. While we are on the subject, I have never heard of "cad in a can". Where do you get such...

Me again on 60HP engine restoration

I hate to be a pest, but I need some more help/leads. In order to be correct I need to have some nuts/bolts/washers cadmium plated. Zinc and aluminum plating are both too shiny.

Is anyone here...

Re: Bought parts on the Barn

Or, I know using the long distance telephone to commit a fraud is a crime so I can't imagine that using the internet to commit a fraud isn't. I hate a cheat. Give him 30 days and go for it.

I hope...

Re: Electronic fuel pump (EFP)

Re: Need 2 1939 style engine block petcocks. H10 plugs

Thanks Kube, I thought I remembered them as being dark, back in the dark ages. Yes, two rib coke bottle plugs are what I need.. They do not have to be functional, just clean up good and look pretty....

Need 2 1939 style engine block petcocks. H10 plugs

I need a couple of petcocks for the 60HP engine project. Anyone have a couple. They just need to look good. Oh, do the 1939 iteration of the H10 plugs have the silver base or blue steel? I'm gonna...

Re: Opinion on a 36LB motor

I don't understand all of the lust over an LB engine. Nobody can see it. Babbitt works just as well as loose bearings for all practical reasons. YOU, personally, are never going to wear out poured...

Re: paper or rubber?

In some cases, if you don't know the difference between rubber and paper, you can get yourself into a heap of trouble.
