Heard of that for the flared fittings but not for the copper washers.

Re: Ammeter vs volt meter on 12v converted system

Re: Flathead PCV ????

Seeing that you have eliminated the fuel pump, have you eliminated the fuel pump push rod and if so, how have you addressed the open push rod bushing?

Re: Copper in oil?

Probably the best way to find out what's in the oil is to get it analyzed rather than wild guessing.

Re: Picture posting video tutorial. The old fashioned way.

If this is a tutorial on how to size pictures, then why is this picture over-size and does not fit within the forum perimeters ?

Re: New products thread??

Just what do you mean by "new" products?
I believe that the Parts for sale forum would be the proper place for any "new" or used products.

Re: side view mirror

If done carefully there is minimal damage to the top and bottom of the hinge and most of that will be covered by the mirror bracket.

Re: help with Mallory install

If this was made by Mallory as a replacement for the original Ford distributor it leads me to the question, is it designed to be operated using carb/venturi vacuum as opposed to manifold vacuum?

Re: What is it?

To prove or dis-prove the theory that the slot is for coins, see if all denominations of coins fit in the slot.

Re: Ebay sales tax in place

If EBAY collected the tax then it's just a simple matter of presenting a proof of tax payment to the DMV. if the transaction is not already in the system,
And if EBAY does not collect tax on motor...

Re: Ebay sales tax in place

Sellers don't pay sales tax, buyers pay sales tax.
When a local car dealer sells a car it's the buyers obligation to pay the sales tax (if any), not the dealer.

Re: Evolution of installing cylinder heads

Never had a problem using non hardening Permatex.
It never glued bolts/studs in position and never leaked after re-tightening.

Re: Basket Case 50 Club Coupe

If the picture you show is after correcting, at least the passenger side appears to be wired correctly.
