I put spray glue on the cork gasket and gently tuck it into the reflector, making sure the ends are at the bottom to allow for drainage

Remember to hold the crank with your thumb side by side with your fingers. If the motor happens to Kick back, It won't take your thumb. This is important.

Yes. I didn't think I had to point out that obvious detail. I own over a hundred of these of these cool accessories. I used to rebuild them when I could see unaided! I also have a ton of mirrors...

Looks like a 1934 pan. '33's just have a hole in the pan. No riveted dip stick receptacle. '33-'34 dip stick dimensions are identical. David G. might confirm.
