Re: SMS Auto Fabrics
The only way I could get Doug to respond or anyone else for that matter was when I went to their Facebook page and gave them a unfavorable review. A local automotive upholstery shop near me had the...

Re: SMS Auto Fabrics
Sounds like nothing has changed with SMS. They’ll lie and avoid you like the plague once they have your money.

Re: Airtex E8902
Reversing the leads doesn’t make the pump run backwards. 2 wire positive and ground. Reverse leads for positive grounding.

Re: Airtex E8902
Yes, I’ve tried the tap test and also checked that it’s getting voltage. It’s dead.

Re: Airtex E8902
I’ve also installed the E8902 on my 40 to use as a priming pump. Went to start the car the other day and couldn’t hear the pump running, you guessed it the pump failed after maybe 20 starts....

Re: 2 Tooth Steering Sector
Vendors list them but not in stock, regardless of what their ad says. And I highly doubt MACS makes anything except for a large profit.

Re: 2 Tooth Steering Sector
Sounds reassuring, my friend that is in need spoke to Don on Monday and he said he didn’t have any idea when they would be available. My friend is 85 and makes and supplies a few items for Snyder’s,...

2 Tooth Steering Sector
I’m searching for a new steering sector 2 tooth. Seems the vendors are out of stock. Anyone have any leads, I’m not wanting a used shaft.

Re: Dropped axle
Might do that when I get closer to actually dropping the 40. Just thought that maybe someone else had been down this road and could give a little insight.

So he can take care of everything, including the dropped steering arms, shortened tie rod and drag link. Any idea on a ballpark price to perform this.

Re: Water Pump
I sent you a PM, we could maybe meet up in Greensburg. I go out there to Rural King about once a month. This week isn’t looking good with the snow they are predicting.

Re: Sourcing Lebaron Bonney parts
SMS was the worse vendor I’ve ever dealt with, I would do without before I would deal with them again. I won’t go into detail but avoid at all cost.
