Does anyone know of a modern day automatic transmission that will bolt up the the 223 six. I now have a 3 speed & want to change over to auto.

So I decided to take out the studs after head gasket messed up for second time. Broke 9 out of 33. Took a whole day to drill out and tap 9 broken studs. put everything back together and anti freeze...

What tires are you runninig?? The tie rod itself is hollow and if you are running wider than stock tires it will flex causing shimmy. You can beef it up with a piece of angle iron to strengthen it.....
