I got the handle on dry. You can strike a match ANYwhere. So past a few hrs at 70+ would 50s or 60s do? This stuff is aparently the collision centers friend. After a fix they usually tell me come get...

Painting the 46

Hey Guys. Got to use an acrylic to paint a door on my 46. My latitude is now around freezing. I have no problem with heating shop to 70 plus degrees to paint and shop will hold that for few hours...

12 v conversion

in a 6 v system above battery, coil and gen replacement what is required? If I recall a starter SHOULD only draw whats needed. Thoughts? Can my old gen be converted? Oh I guess regulator too

Well easy peesy. Just break bead. Pound ring down. Look for slot when rust seperates. Use pry bar to pry that side of ring away from rim as you tap other side down. Once to side clearance reliefs...

20 inch rims

I got 20" duals on 46 3 ton. Can 8.25 tire go on where 7.5 was? I assume its just a width diff. 6" rim. Are these able to balance?

46 stumble and idle screws

As posted b4 my 46 stumbles above 1800. I can SLIGHTLY change with timing. I can move its RPM and almost eliminate by idle mix screws almost 3 1/2 turns out

Still 46 shutter

My 46 3 ton can do ANYTHING except stop its 25+ MPH shutter. Idle, accelerate, stand stop, climb trees you name it, not over 20-25 MPH though. Tune things worse, tune em better. You can go to any...

Found my miss,,BUT

On my 46 3ton I tried a new coil as after points, carb, cond etc etc it would still do a 2300+ RPM miss ..Hit the bottom of your pants like a brick like twice a second. Point bounce was looked at too...

Changed coil. A bit better, but not much at RPM over 1800. 3 coils all same, HOWEVER is there a coil thats best? What plug is best to not foul in 6v
