Re: Change from 16 inch wheels to 15 inch wheels

I went with “15 to get rid of the bias ply tubed tires and install tubeless radials, this also lowered the car about 1 inch all around. I can now polish the roof easier.

Looks like motor in my ‘41 which I know is not original, just a run of the mill 221 made from 1938-1942. I have 2 bare blocks and 1 extra complete motor with little or no markings on them.

Do you know brand/model pump you have?, on my ‘41 the previous owner installed an electric pump with a filter before and after the electric pump. Mine doesn’t run all the time it has a switch under...

The brakes may say Bendix but they look more like Lockheed style to me which means they don’t self energize, I thought Ford didn’t go to self energized brakes until 1949.
