Is the fan too high on the generator because of radiator hoses? You can lower the front mounts or trim the fan blades shorter.

Russ I have a Schneider 248 f in my roadster. Have a .325 rear end.
I am very happy with the way this cam drives. It will putt along on country roads and has a lot of power on the Highway

Re: Problem with front axle made of a mixture of parts.

One thing to consider besides Ackerman is that the tie rod moves down as the wheel is turned. Need to check this. Also Okie Joe told me to bend at the root of the arm.

I would recommend using original used Ford rear axle nuts. The new ones are soft and have poor thread fit.

In Illinois I think this would be a salvage title. There are companies that specialize in getting a title for these cars. Need to have your ducks in a row when restoring an unlicensed car.

I use a pressure bleeder. Pump to 10psi. Walk around to each wheel with clear bleeder hose and open until no bubbles. I usually do it twice. You never need to worry about getting air or running out...
