Re: BW R10 governor

If the rubber boot is on it then take that off. Remove the screws on the cover and you will see the points underneath. You can spin the governor with a drill motor to watch them operate. I believe...

Re: Coolant flow diagram

Do you need extreme accuracy or does the efi just need to know when to go to warmed up mode? If you take a laser thermometer you can pinpoint temps in certain areas. Ford put the sensors in the...

Re: No cell battery

You may have an Optima in an original case. Why is it running down? If it is disconnected and running down you may need a new one. If it is connected and running down it may be time for a new...

Re: Bushings and reamers ***thread to end all threads*** add your knowledge

My friend had reproduction brake actuators levers for his 34 and they were two different sizes. Not that you would notice but a thousandth or two makes a difference when you want a good fit.

Re: generator HP

Hope this helps. 35 amps at 6 volts equals 210 watts. 1 hp is 746 watts. I'm thinking a fractional size 1/2 to 3/4 hp motor will be plenty.

Re: 1950 Convertible Boot Top

My boot cover on my 49 is black like my top but choose what you think like best. I showed my car once and do not remember the judges asking about it.

Re: Oil in 8BA

Has this engine ever been rebuilt? The first thing I would do is check compression and leakdown.

Re: Where do you CURRENTLY acquire a flow through electric fuel pump?

If you are just looking for a priming pump or something to push through a vapor lock the psi will not be a concern.

Re: Theft Prevention Ideas??

Preventing theft is pretty difficult as a flatbed truck can just haul it away. Some crs are stolen when it is actually the trailer they want. A Lamborghini stolen on Long Island was found locally...

Re: 2022 Great Race

Depending on what the speeds may be it is easier to maintain 40mph on a hill in a newer car than a stock Model A. I know the errors can be compensated for but it is still extra work.
