Re: Change

I'm with Purdy. Given the technology of the times and where they were coming from, they did a pretty darned good job. There were a lot of running changes that took care of a lot of issues. More...

Re: No Spark

It still could be the ground. I am having a devilish time with my 39. It exhibits similar symptoms to yours. I am convinced that my problem is the ground. Nice coupe, btw. You need to have that...

Re: Information on "Transition" (1927) Model A

I would not call it a "Transitional Model A." To the untrained eye, it looks just like any other 28 or 29 Model A. The biggest giveaway is that the emergency brake is on the left hand side of the...

Re: MARC facebook site

Social media is filled with incorrect and misleading information and someone needs to try and set things straight. It is easy to share your opinion with the world, with no regard for the facts. Two...

Re: Mark Auto Supply New Jersey

Thanks for the back story, but bad news that the business or tooling couldn't be sold. Just the way it goes sometimes, but sorry to hear about it.

I have seven Fords, including my daily drivers. I also have a 2002 Mazda Miata, when Mazda was 33% owned by Ford. ;-)

Re: New Member New car

Welcome to the Barn. Looks like you got a good one if it started so quickly after sitting so long. You have gotten good advice so far.

Re: Jumpimg the resistor at start-up

I just read this and the thread that Old Henry put in his response. The one to the V8 Forum does not work, so if someone has a better or another link, I would love to see it.
