Re: Where oh where has all the gas gone?

If you’ve been running it that rich you might want to pull & clean your spark plugs.

Re: Turn Signals . . . Your Thoughts

I wouldn’t drive my Model A like I do without turn signals and two taillights. Folks today do not understand arm signals.....

Re: Just bought a 1931 Model A

I had my garage floor professionally finished with epoxy paint about 14 years ago, and it still looks almost new. The biggest enemy I was told is too high of moisture in the slab. They have a meter...

Re: Standard Interior in a 30 Town Sedan?

Tom
Congrats on getting your first Model A. You and I spoke on the phone, and it sounds like your car was quite nicely done, and am sure you will enjoy. I enjoy my Town Sedan so much that I...

Re: Brake feel . . .

Getting the brakes to work properly and well normally involves a lot more than adjusting them. That’s a good place to start, but after that you need to systematically inspect the entire system and...

Re: Current BEST TIRES for daily driver?

I am very happy with the Goodyear tires I put on about 4 years ago....much better than the prior BF Goodrich. Lots of guys now are using the newer radial tires and seem very happy with them.

Re: Model A Brake Lights

I also really like the LED tail lights....much brighter and all red. Also having two tail lights on the rear of the car....I can’t imagine driving a Model A today with only one tail light.....

Re: Standard Interior in a 30 Town Sedan?

I think folks are just answering his questions.....there was no discussion of fine points, and we all mentioned it was up to him....if he doesn’t care.....great.....

Re: Standard Interior in a 30 Town Sedan?

I have a 1930 Town Sedan that I have owned for over 13 years now, and it was painted in Copra Chicle and Copra Drab. From what I have seen over the years is many variations of those colors, but I...

Re: Snow bird conversion at Iola WI car show

Saw your photos and that looks really neat. I would think it is quite effective in the snow....have you tried it in fairly deep stuff?
Can it be easily converted back to road use?

Re: The Joys of vintage registration

When they were first made, the number stamped on the left frame rail and the engine number were the same. Over the years, many engines have been replaced, usually with a different number, unless...

Re: just curious

It seems to me that most of the Model A owner’s I know or have heard with a Mitchell, in the standard 26% configuration, prefer the stock 3.78 rear end. The Town Sedan is the heaviest Model A, so...

Re: Collector Car Insurance
