I’ve been using these for years on all my Model A,s and not a drop gets past this valve…others will say that it’s a bandaid but it definitely works for me. I get mine from Ace Hardware….

I built mine out of wood and coated with exterior polyurethane. It has held up great. Built one for my truck as well. Holds lots of tools and other stuff….

If you have another spare distributor top cap, make a troubleshooting tool by cutting off both sides of it leaving the part intact where the coil wire goes in and snaps onto the distributor. Snap it...

Over the years I’ve had a good bit of trouble with condensers so I built Tom Wesenbergs coil tester and added the condensers and spark plug test as well.

I may have missed it on an earlier thread but did you check the oil pump? A 29 that I worked on had a terrible knock and all it needed was the oil pump cleaned.
