Don't trim right after after installation let it set for a few days because the rubber seal tends to shrink up somewhat .

The original keeper screw is only about 1/4 inch long and is slotted . When seated against the lock it does go quite deep into the door wood . I have not seen one broken because it is so short . But...

I had a reproduction gas cap that would not let the windshield move past the cap because it sat to high . I put a original on and the clearance was just right . I had all new header and everything...

In the last few years there has been much improvement in the recent reproduction head lamp wiring . If you have some of the old stuff laying around it wont be as good as the current parts .

X2 for Jim Brand , He has all the correct colors for the original pin stripes . He also knows the correct areas to be covered by a pin stripe ! He also knows where the stripes have a proper ending...

If you are running only clear water you should use a water pump lubricant and rust inhibiter otherwise you will have a lot of rust in your clooling system . Usually the rust inhibitor and water pump...

My original electric wiper switch is located on the wiper motor . The wiper motor is mounted outside with a shaft going through to the inside so the On Off lever is just above the driver .

How would you use bolts nuts and washers as there are no holes through the edge of the gas tank . Would you drill the tank for bolts instead of the original clamps? What about potential leaks?

Removing the brake cross shaft does help some when re-installing the ujoint and rear end . It lets you line up the splines . It can be done with the cross shaft in place but for me it seemed easier...
