it RUNS! and runs good. made a hose adapter to run water thru it, hooked up coil, borrowed popout thing from another engine and coil wire frome my '71 f250, hooked up a gas can, sucker fired right...

I just want to see if this runs. I will connect to small gas tank.
6 volt battery, positive ground.
how does coil wiring get hooked up and connected to distributor?
can it be ran without water for...

and, if using spring liners, the spring wont fit into the crossmember, unless you shave off the outside lip of the liner with a razor blade.

the hardest problem i have with this is getting the spring center bolt into the hole. cant see it. i drilled a hole in the floor to verify if it was in. what do you guys do?

banger engine and stuff
banjo rear end, with stock brakes and wishbones, no driveshaft. unmodified, still has main leaf spring on it. $50
lightened flywheel, v8 clutch and T-O bearing. never used $425
v8 transmission...

there is space for them them to get back there. getting them all back out is not hard just takes a few minutes of strategic shaking. whatever rust is still there, was sealed with the red-kote. but...

i took mine out, poured a box of 100 1/2" nuts in there and some water, after plugging the fuel guage hole. shook it like a madman and then cleaned it all out. then washed the insides with swimming...

ive had the same problem with bolt kits from snyders. not long enough. also had some spring center bolts from them. while putting the front spring together, the nut stripped and the whole thing...

it shifts witha toggle switch, feels like an automatic trans when it shifts. parts are avail, very common at local yards, i found five of them in one location. and cheaper. thats why.

anyone have a pic of what the number 1 should look like for 1930? searched and seen it look like a capital I. this confuses me. also, dont worry, im just restamping the numbers to make them readable.
