Re: Wind Wing for 31 Roadster

Now that we are talking about it.

I was driving to a show today and heard a clunk. It's a good thing I had my side curtains up. The wind wing fell off, hit the door and was slowly slipping...

Re: Rear main tube?

Re: Oil In My Water

31 Front spring shackles, how tight or lose?

Last winter I replaced my 31 front spring shackles and did some work on the spring.

Today I noticed when lifting the car on the lift, or lifting each side with a jack, the shackles didn't move the...

Re: Looking to buy Tacoma Cream powder coat paint for my painter, need help.

Their code is x-1399 Martenson Maize Yellow.

I don't know if it is a match to the paint book, all I really cared about is that it match what I had. I do have a feeling that it will be a perfect...

Re: Looking to buy Tacoma Cream powder coat paint for my painter, need help.

Follow up:

Powderbuythepound.com did an awesome job in matching my Tacoma Creme wheels. I had them painted and could not be happier.

I would recommend them any day.

What is the spring and turn knob for on the bottom of the Zenith

The other day I saw for my first time an indented firewall shutoff with a side bowl on a Zenith-2.

What is the spring and the turn knob used for at the bottom of the sidebowl that goes into the...

Re: Front end shimmy

I would not order the stabilizer, because that is not fixing the real problem. All you are doing is adding hardware in hopes of lessening the vibration.

It is possible it will lessen the...

Re: Can the TDC pin be off by 90 Degrees?

Table, put your hand over the #1 cylinder, or a light tissue over the cylinder when you are cranking it over. Before you do this it will be easier if you remove all of the plugs.

The top of the...

Re: New England Meet

Starter armature, is it good?

The armature for my starter doesn’t have any grooves. I can see the lines but I really can’t feel them with my fingernail like I can with my generator.

Is this OK or should it be replaced?

Re: Change

Longer cab, synchro trans, 6 cylinders.

But remember, for every change the price goes up. And that is not what Henry was about.

Re: Lug nuts

Ahhhhh, sooooo purdy if I tighten my lug nuts at 2 lbs, that equals very little friction, I then would go wicked fast.:)

Re: Gas Gauge Calibration

A 31 holds 11 gallons.

Maybe someone has the specs on the gas tank stick. I made one up and it is very accurate, but per usual I can not find my file.

You will be able to bend the float wire...
