Donovan 4 Cylinder

Studying the Donovan Aluminum 4 cylinder motor. I'm a rookie and am wondering what do they use for a head? They show both Flathead & Overhead parts. They are priced the same just 2 separate lists....

Offenhauser used to a good source but since the family sold the business the new owners are not the best at running the business. Availability of parts has diminished and prices have increased...

Several years ago if my memory is right I saw one of these conversions in AZ. I think it may have been owned by Jackie Howerton? Nice green 40 with patina.

Contacted Rusty, will send it to him this week for examination. It was working perfect after he repaired it. Something may have came loose? May need a replacement?

I used to get a regrind of that cam from Baxter Ford Parts. Used it in several motors. Worked great. Don't think they're doing that anymore?

Got out Davids 32 bibles and found the answer. Yes pickups did have rubber covered running boards.
