I guess I like the '40 best because I have one and I cut my teeth on a 40 deluxe coupe as a teenager. I'm sure that experience made me the technician/educator that I am today.

I have the same problem with the exact set up. I haven't tried to fix yet but my thoughs are that our cars have a ton of EMF. Ignition and charging systems. Ground being good because the lights blink...

Thanks for the replies. I do have the correct voltage to Skip's coil and a ceramic resistor as recomended by Barners. It just hangs under the dash. Thinking about a condenser on the turn signal...

I'm done lurking:)
1. My ballast resistor is hanging and of course glowing red. Would I get better heat dissipation if it was mounted?

2. My electronic turn signals flash normal with Key On...

Two years and mine has been fine. By the way, where do you find a 12 volt solenoid that will work with the grounding principle of the starter button?
