I used a 12 volt start pack on my 6 volt Ford a few years ago. After several tries, it did start, but I ended up with a fried fuel gage and oil pressure gage. Had to send both out to be rebuilt.

On the forum for owners and pilots of the airplane I own, 3,000 members, I'm the second oldest. On the Ford Barn, probably in the youngest half of the members at 74. It's all relative.
