Yep, no need to remove the wheel to replace the wiring harness. As long as the retainer "C" clip at the bottom of the column doesn't fall out (like mine did) There shouldn't be any reason to mess...

i kind of "enjoy" looking at farmer fixes. I go to a lot of auctions, i drag home lots of model a stuff. Frames seemed to be especially susceptible to that kind of repair.
