Vintique's Fuse Block Assembly

I bought 2 Fuse Block Assemblies...the ones made by Vintique, and I have a problem with both of them.

"Waffled" rivets?????

Why did Ford use the Waffle type stamping of rivets in places where a domed rivet would of worked just the same?

Aluminum Fan Blades and Wheels and Powder Coating...

I am going to have my 1929 Wheels powder coated here in the near future.

Should I not powder coat the area where the lug nuts go or go ahead with it?

Also I have a Aluminum Fan Blade for which...

Aluminum Fan blade...Breaking...

While on a tour this last weekend, one of the participants had a nice surprise...one of the fan blades made a clean break. Put a dent in the left side of his hood.

Has there been other reports of...

28-29 Tudors assembled in Seattle...

Looking for 28-29 Tudors assembled at the Seattle Assembly Plant which have the "AS" assembly plant code on the body's (floor) front cross sill assembly.

For instance "AS5525"

Yes, I am still digging!

When the Closed Cab body was FIRST attached to the Model AA chassis at the beginning of Production, the body attachment holes were in a specific location on the body.

Thank you Bob and yes...I know about that letter. Even Wagner in his book about the Ford Trucks since 1905...He indicates August 1928 but I have no idea just where he got that from.

Was there a larger chain link coming off the chain link bracket followed by the smaller chain OR was there the smaller link coming off the bracket?

Narrow bed pickup parts needed

I am in need of the right and left "Narrow Box Fender to Bed Spacers" (ORIGINAL). These spacers are attached to the right and left side of the box to accept the rear fenders.
