58 Ford Del Rio

Maybe try paint remover or " OOPS " multi purpose remover. Supposed to remove paint, tar, glue, gum etc. Try using a tooth brush after you let it set for awhile. Pat

Thanks jimvette I may wind up doing that. I might pick up a set of 14" Mustang Rims from the 60's and try it on them, That may only happen in the Spring when the weather gets warmer. Thanks agagin......

Thanks raceron1120, I may give that a try, I guess you put it all around the wheel,then put the hubcap back on,then let it dry ? Sounds OK to me.

Thanks again guys. What is rtv ? Same as goop ? I did try bending the tabs out,and they still came off. But I'll use the dog dish for now, they look OK, but not like top of the line for the year !
