It is a universal prop that can be used for many applications. Use what you think works best for your car. You can use either set, it only makes the hood open further with the long ones.

I agree totally. You can use any timing light, with a newer timing light that uses 12 volts, you can use a separate jumper pack or another 12 volt battery to hook the power leads to.

If you are talking about the two water holes in the middle of the head, almost all used heads are cracked there. It does not hurt them any, just run them. I think Ford just used the light casting...

If you have stock mounts follow Tom's advice. If you are using float o motor rear mounts, they usually do not line up well with the crank hole unless new pads are used and not over tightened.

The above post will work, Taking the front spring clamp off should give you enough room to take the pulley off with a little lifting. The pulley looks pretty new, if it is good you can just leave...
