Re: model a ford wire ga

If I was faced with the problem I would install a new wiring harness from a good supplier. Use search for recommendations. Been there, done that.

Re: Model A Registration Woes

Ok, let's assume you get through DMV without telling them about the mismatch. What are you going to do if a police officer stops you for a minor violation and since it is a slow night wants to run...

I did both tail light and rumble seat step bracket by trimming the tail light bracket to fit inside of the recess in the rumble seat step bracket. I didn't modify the rumble seat bracket for fear of...

Re: What do I need to do to get a reliable engine?

When you are considering a rebuilder be sure to check them out in the archives. Go to the black bar at the top of the page and click "search". Remember that even the best shop will goof sometimes,...

Re: Heater

Then you could run a hot water heater and run the hoses through the floorboards. Either old time appearing like an ARVIN (see EBAY) or street rod.

Re: 48 ford f4 flat head v8 and drive train

Still confused? Is that Brazil, Indiana (IN)? Also you are going to need a better description and photos. Just rebuilt by a big name rebuilder or has it been sitting outside uncovered for the last...

Re: Some Questions........

I hope the copper colored brake lines are really steel as copper is not correct (and will fail) for brake lines.

Re: Some Questions........

The holes in the bottom of the frame rail in front are probably for engine splash pans. The left over hose is a drain for the cowl vent. It extends from the trough at the bottom of the cowl vent...

Re: how do I replace stripped wheel lugs in a wide 5 hub

Find someone that knows how to do it and has done it before. Also they will need a 20 ton press and know how to support the drum/hub. Maybe your local Early Ford V8 Club knows of someone.
