It's BS you will lose points. The casting is incorrect, and the caps are totally wrong.


Ask them to send you a guarantee that it will pass Model A judging or your money back and see how fast...

That is correct. This is the reason the when judging the A there is an allowance of 3 months from engine date.

Some of these reproduction batteries are regular lead acid and some are AGM batteries. I thought there were two companies that made the batteries.

If you insist on using them then measure the distance above the head the stud sticks out and the room in the nut for the stud.
