I’ve changed my cars to 12 volts for a long time. If your 6 volt wiring is in good shape it’s a pretty simple process.

Thanks for the replies. I know 030 is a lot, but I like playing with these old engines just to see what I can get away with. I will check all the clearances to make sure that things aren’t bumping...

Ok yogis is for adapting a six hole to a five hole. Won’t work because the original ford sender is six hole too. A sheet metal piece won’t work either too thin.
