Re: Power steering pump on a flathead

Think you should sent a PM to Charles as this thread is 7 plus years old. Feels good to know that Fordbarn is still around though.

Re: Saving The 1939 Mercury Coupe From The Rust Lagoon

Re: 1939 Ford Transmission Case and Tower

Just to clarify about the tower. This was an extra that I have with very good forks unlike the one that was on this transmission when I bought it which are in very poor condition. Thanks

Re: Saving The 1939 Mercury Coupe From The Rust Lagoon

Watched this a few days ago, a lot of effort for what they got. Seems like it will be a parts car as it is way too far gone.

Re: Body Number Tag- '38 Convertible

That's why I asked, don't want to muck it up if better left alone. It looks in really nice shape so if I do remove the paint it will be masked off and q-tips utilized. Thanks again.

Re: Body Number Tag- '38 Convertible

Two more questions, were these painted over or installed after paint originally? And what were they made of, nickel, plated brass. I would like to remove the paint if it's not supposed to be there....

Recently spotted this tag on my '38 convertible club coupe covered by the newer paint job and was wondering if this was done back in the day and the significance of the numbers/letters. I know the...

Re: 1941 Convertible- 10,000 Original Miles !!!

Have to ammend my last post, Ron did add the fender skirts, however the spot lights, fog lights, mirrors were all done by original owner. He also told me that when on vacation in Door County a few...

Re: 1941 Convertible- 10,000 Original Miles !!!

Ron has not added any accessories to the car, all were done by original owner. The original tan top was a little worn and had one hole in it so he replaced it with a black top. He said as I took...

Re: 1941 Convertible- 10,000 Original Miles !!!

Ron told me the car was in one magazine some years ago, I believe it was Car Collector? He was unfamiliar with Fordbarn or the H.a.m.b. and it quite busy with his business so don't think he has in...
