My existing-setup ….wire from ignition switch runs to the original Ford resistor on inside firewall then to the + side of the coil. I’m using a new Beru German 3.3 ohm VW coil so no external resistor...

Interesting, I was going to use heater hose as bushing. I found the square spacer which traps the core when the cover is installed. If I took photos could have avoided the problem when assembling....

That diagram is different. I’m trying to determine if a bushing or whatever goes between the heater core and the fan housing.

I checked Tanks Inc web site and they work on 73-10 ohms and sell for $39
When I installed the tank and put in 4 gal it read 1/4, then put an additional 4 gallons and it read 1/2 tank, I’m happy
