Flatheadmurre when it engages it is not slow. It starts the engine right up. Sometimes it will wrrrr 3 or 4 times in a row and then engage correctly.

Found a guy in Orange City who rebuilt my starter right away. He made it look like new. Its back in and the car is running fine. Off to Pioneer Settlement today to meet up with the Crankin A's.
