I have a Champion radiator in my 39 coupe. It never gets above 180 degrees even in the Florida heat. I painted my black so it doesn't look so out of place.

Actually no, It is a regular Brother machine that she use to make doll cloths. We could only sew 2 layers together so the pattern is fairly simple.

I use a 1 inch piece of a bicycle inner tube and stretch it over the bearing then pushed it into the column. It holds everything nice and tight.

265 cubic , 2 Holley 94, schnider f260 cam, EAB heads, T-5 Trans, 3.5 gear.

I changed the advance stop and put in lighter springs. I get about 22 deg advance at 2000RPM.

Phill,
I did have pinging issues before. I had to limit the amount of Vac advance in the MSD distributor. The rattle is not as sharp as a ping.
