Re: Seeking a jack for 1933 sedan

With the scissor jack you should carry a short piece of 4X4 as you may need to place the jack on it to get enough height to lift the car. Most scissor jacks I have used or carried need the block of...

Re: New products thread??

Re: White wall care

If the whitewalls are getting chalky I would think the tires are starting to deteriorate. Just because you still have a lot of tread doesn't mean that the tires are still good. Most tire shops will...

Re: 1947 Super Deluxe Front Axle Bumpers

Check around with other vendors for the bumpers. All the axle bumpers I have purchased had the mounting studs/threads that matched the originals. "40 axle bumpers are 3/8 -24. Use them as most people...

Re: 1940 Ford Gas tank Fuel Outlet fitting pick up Question

I've used plastic tanks before and just curious why you would not want to use the pickup tube and vent that comes with the tank? Frankly I would not want to modify a plastic tank with another pickup...

Re: 1940 Ford Gas tank Fuel Outlet fitting pick up Question

Re: Painting Copper Brake Lines

I think the copper will eventually oxidize and not be as noticeable. I would just leave it alone.
