The original tube was metal and larger in diameter, the fitting in there now looks like coarse pipe thread, the hole has been retapped so original probably won't fit

Way back when I did my shocks I used a strap wrench to remove the covers, only had a propane torch for heat, had just built a garage, when pouring the floor I sunk 2 anchor bolts for a metal plate...

take oil can fill with thin oil--automatic trans fluid works --squirt way up into the area of the upper leaves, pretty much drench the whole spring, go for a drive, do it again
before you drive...

A long time ago my father had a widebed, with the original bed sills,there were only 2 holes, across from each other, the bracket with the triangle mounting didn't match, but a station wagon bracket...

Yes, if you look in the service bulletins there's a picture, it's a glass bottle and electric fuel pump to fill it in a metal case along with a valves

28-34 4 cylinder will all interchange as assembly including powerhouse though the powerhouse needs it's own bolt
